About the Event
All funds raised will go toward hiring a birth doula for a member of the Kingston community who lost her husband unexpectedly earlier this month.
In a world that seems intent on pushing us apart and focusing on our differences, Weaving Community together feels like an important and radical act of defiance as well as a celebration of the human spirit. In this Qoya Inspired Movement practice, sound bath and acupuncture journey, we'll explore what it feels like in our bodies when we choose to Weave Community - to intentionally connect with others, to be a part of a shared sense of oneness, to weave our lives in community with other like-hearted people. Through movement, sound, and acupuncture, we'll tap into the wisdom of our own bodies as we explore the theme, Weaving Community.
Wear clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in. Bring a water bottle, yoga mat, journal and pen (optional), and whatever you need to get cozy on the floor for the sound bath (pillow, blanket, eye mask).
Suggested Donation - $33$
